Casa Plaza-Flores

Up a flight of stairs, this lovely first floor apartment, has been decorated with style and for comfort. There are 3 bedrooms - a double bedroom and the twin bedroom share a bathroom with a shower over the bath, wc & basin. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite bathroom which has a shower over the bath, sink & wc. Each bedroom has it's own balcony overlooking the street life of Estepona old town.

The kitchen has granite work-tops and is fully equipped with a ceramic hob top (stove tops), electric oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine etc. The lounge/dining room has a TV with an IPTV system with BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and many more English channels (including German, Portuguese & Dutch channels).

The building is one of only two apartments. Out of the front door and up a flight of internal stairs the large roof terrace is for your private use only. There is a built in BBQ, outdoor dining table, sun beds and comfortable chairs for your relaxation. The roof top terrace is a great place to enjoy a leisurely BBQ or a G & T at sundown. But, if cooking is too much like hard work, there are many excellent bars & restaurants on your doorstep serving excellent meats and fresh fish.

Only a short stroll from your property (150 meters) is La Rada beach. This is a large, popular family friendly beach (2.4km long) with golden sand perfect for adults & children alike. This blue flag beach boasts many facilities including water sports, lifeguards, restaurants, cafes, toilets, showers and sun bed and shade hire. The lovely promenade running the length of Estepona town has gardens along its length and is perfect for either a morning run or an evening stroll.

The promenade is peppered with chiringitos that serve a wide variety of traditional food such as paella and fresh fish to fast food such as pizza & french fries. The above bottom left photo is of Bikini Beach which is located at the western end of La Rada beach.

Plaza de las Flores is a pretty square in the old quarter of Estepona. With the scent of Jasmine in the air and the many tropical plants, this is a lovely place to watch the world go by. Plaza de las Flores is lined with cafes and tapas bars with tables to enjoy the warm Spanish weather. For a modest price you can sample some tapas, pinchitos (mini kebabs) or pinchos (small sandwiches) accompanied by a glass of wine or a refreshing glass of beer. For something a little bit different & special, try Casa del Rey, one of my favourite Tapas bars, located just below your apartment (very popular I recommend to book a table!). Around the square you’ll find narrow, cobbled streets with white-washed houses, flower filled balconies and little shops to enjoy whilst you wander. The Ice cream parlour ‘Café del Centro’ between Plaza Flores and calle Terazas has proved popular with my family.
